In evaluating the results of this survey, several findings are particularly notewor
thy. First , the functionality /capabi lity of
software was rated as most important to users when selecting software. If software does not meet current needs, there is no sense in using it. Within this categol)'.fea tures such as real-time processing, securi ty, and user frien ness topped the st in importance. Here, users indicated that they not only need fast processing, bu t they need data to be secure and they need software to be easy to use. Not surprisingly, when

tan t features of software would lead to
greater satisfaction.
