The sugarcane bagasse, as any other type of lignocellulose, isprimarily composed of cellulose, hemicelluloses and lignin [8,9].Hence, due to the close association that exists among these plantcell wall components, a pretreatment method is required for itsefficient use as a raw material for ethanol production, whichincludes the need for high accessibility to enzymatic hydrolysisand good fermentation yields
