On the contrary, the bacteria co-encapsulated with PS and INU had
viability around 5.6e6.23 log CFU g1 which was significantly
different (p < 0.05) than that shown by bacteria co-encapsulated
with PSY. These results are contrary to those reported by
Etchepare et al. (2016) in which a mixture of corn starch and inulin
positively affected the survival of microorganisms in gastrointestinal
conditions
