The top three countries from the first phase will then join the top three ranked national federations from each zone of the 2010-2012 AVC Beach Volleyball World Continental Cup.
Once again, countries competing in the women’s tournament will be spread across four pools in East Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and Oceania. The top ranked countries in each of these pools will qualify directly for the third phase finals, with the second and third ranked countries moving onto the third phase semifinals.
