3.1. Profiles of pectinase production and fungal growth by freecells
Fig. 1 shows the profiles of pectinase activity increased gradu-ally until its achieved maximal production on day 6 of cultivationwith about 2.54 U/mL. The enzyme production dropped after thatuntil the day 10th of cultivation. This may due to the variationin pH of the medium caused the formation of organic acid [22]
