Demonstrated experience in vocational, agricultural, or a combination of education and work experience
Minimum 2-3 years sales experience
Review the operation of the plant while monitoring production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Participate in projects intended to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Maintain reports of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime and utility consumption on a timely basis.
Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) program.
Communicate directly with QA laboratory to ensure effective participation in the implementation of QA policies and procedures.
Sample and test process streams as required by the QA program and procedures.
Understand and interpret QA results and take appropriate action when required.
Participate in plant maintenance program.
Communicate directly with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
Assist maintenance technicians in performing maintenance and repairs.
Support the diagnosing and trouble-shooting of maintenance related issues.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Basic Qualifications: (required)
High school diploma or GED.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship.
Ability to speak and read English.
Basic language and math skills needed to comprehend and carry out instructions.
Previous experience in a food packing facility to include:
Packaging.
Liquid food processing.
Liquid food drying.
Must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications: (desired)
Technical degree in related field.
