In Fig. 1, the consumption pattern translated into domestic
material consumption for Romania shows that the highest
proportion of material extracted and used is represented by
non-metallic minerals, followed by biomass, fossil energy
materials and other products. Out of these categories, the
clearest variation is shown in the case of non-metallic
minerals.
