DPPH tests
The DPPH radical scavenging activity was evaluated accord-
ingto themethod described by Sharififar et al. (2009).1mL of
100 μMDPPHsolution in methanolwas mixed with1 mLof
plant extract. The reaction mixture was incubatedin the dark
for 20 min, and the optical density was recorded at 517nm
against the blank. For the control, 1mL of DPPH solution in
methanol was mixedwith 1mL of methanol, andopticalden-
sity of solution was recorded after 20 min. IC50 values related
to the DPPH radical scavenging activity were calculated.
