Procedure
1. Read the scenarios and choose one for the basis of this assessment and assist Alexandra with the following mentioned.
2. Examine the information and write an effective problem definition statementthat includes impact of the problem; who is impacted;behavior that needs to change and who needs to change their behavior.
3. Use either one of the techniques such as: 5 whys technique; idea writing; brainstorming; affinity diagrams; negative brainstorming; force field analysis or other techniques to create alternative options/solutions.
4. Analyse options and assess associated risks and determine the preferred course of action.
5. Propose to Alexandra how she can avoid ‘group think’ in order to put forward her options/solutions to the team members/management.
6. Propose to Alexandra onhow she should communicate the decision to her team members in a timely and appropriate manner.
7. Propose and advise how Alexandra could use feedback to effectively monitor the implementation of the decision.
