Regarding your concern for presence of heavy metals Copper & Zinc in the sample above FSSAI Limits, I would like to clarify that we have not mentioned FSSAI limits on the test reports. The “Limit of Detection” mentioned on the test report is our minimum detection limit of the method above which we can report a value.
As your product falls under “foods not specified category” As per FSSAI, Maximum permissible Limits for Copper is 30mg/kg and for Zinc is 50mg/kg. The detected concentrations are well below the FSSAI limits and sample is complying.
If FSSAI limits are required on the test report, we can incorporate it. Kindly suggest.
