The data was statistically analysed using the software SPSS version 19. Descriptive statistics (frequencies, means, standard deviations (SD)) were examined first. For further analyses, the age groups and education categories were reclassified. An explorative factor analysis using the principal axis method with Varimax rotation and eigenvalue greater than one was carried out to find the structure of the scale to further formulate sum variables. The statement ‘0 = does not affect me’ was left out of the factor analyses (DeVellis, 2012).
