Decreases in non-inflammatory and inflammatory lesions over time are summarized in Fig. 3(II) and (III), respectively. The mean number of non-inflammatory lesion significantly reduced (P < 0.01) in both groups when week 8 was compared to the baseline. In group A, the mean number of non-inflammatory and inflammatory lesions decreased from 25.65±8.12 to 13.45±4.49 (a reduction rate of 47.6%) and 8.08 ± 2.80 to 5.68 ± 1.94 (reduction rate 29.7%), respectively. In group B, these values dropped from 29.26±7.99 to 13.95±5.22 (a reduction rate of 52.3%) and 8.23±2.66 to 6.36 ± 2.43 (a reduction rate of 22.7%), respectively (P > 0.05).
