3.3. Conditions preventing vision testing
Prescribers submitted an initial OAF for 863 patients, of which 300
(35%) adult patientswere exempted fromvision testing. Themost common
reason patients were exempted was for neurological disability
(n = 128, 43%) (Fig. 2A). Based on the analysis of free-text responses,
the most common “other” reason for vision testing exemption was patients'
general neurologic condition, which includes cognitive developmental
disabilities (Fig. 2B).
