allantoin tended to be lower in swamp buffaloes than in
Brahman cattle although there was no significant difference. Methane production on the basis of DM intake was
not significantly different between Brahman cattle and
swamp buffalo. ME content of Ruzi grass hay was 7.61
MJ/kgDM from the average of all the animals.
