Discussion
The findings from this study indicated that perceived objective severity and perceived
psychological barriers were the most important factors in predicating tooth brushing behavior
in young adolescents. In this study more than 80% of the students claimed that they do not
brush twice a day. These findings suggest that there is urgent need for planning and
performing appropriate and rapid educational programs.
