7. Remove the No Container No Fill sensor and bracket by unscrewing the two (2)
captive screws which fasten the sensor bracket to the guide assembly. DO NOT
REMOVE THE SENSOR FROM THE BRACKET.
8. Disconnect the vacuum hose and remove the product drip pan from the inner
guide assembly.
9. Remove the inner guide assembly by unlocking the clamp, then slide the guide on
the retaining pins until able to lift off.
10. Remove the timing screw by loosening the jam nut on the knurled screw, then
back off screw to enable the timing screw to be removed from the drive coupling.
At this point all stars and guides are removed which will enable the machine to be
thoroughly cleaned. All change parts are color coded for ease of identification.
11. Install a new timing screw by sliding the new screw onto the drive coupling and
clamp it in place with the knurled screw at the opposite end. Lock the knurled
screw in place with the jam nut. The timing of the screw should already be preset.
12. Install a new inner guide by aligning the guide assembly over the locating pins and
slide it into position. Lock the guide in place by rotating the clamp.
13. Attach the No Container No Fill sensor to the inner guide by fastening the sensor
and bracket to the guide with the captive screws. THE SENSOR SHOULD
ALREADY BE PRESET.
14. Attach the product drip pan and connect vacuum hose to the port.
15. Install infeed/discharge stars of the appropriate color. Lock in place.
16. Install turret star segments of the appropriate color from the rear of the machine.
Jog the turret around such that the first installed segment overlaps with the inner
guide. This will enable the additional segments to be installed at the rear of the
machine. Clamp in place.
17. Install the outer guide segments of the appropriate color over the locating pins and
slide them into position. Lock the guides in place with the clamp.
AT THIS POINT ALL GUIDES ARE IN PLACE.
18. Install the appropriate “Z” seal on the receiving funnels by stretching them over
the flanges.
19. Install the receiving funnel clusters by sliding them under the spring retainers and
lock them in place with the two (2) supplied retaining screws.
20. Lower the turret toward the appropriate height for the new container, which is just
low enough to provide adequate sealing at the container mouth.
21. Lock the turret in position.
