From the total number of injuries reported in this investigation,
67.2% (n = 10,256) were classified as time loss
injuries, while the remaining 32.7% (n = 4987) were medical
attention injuries. When accounting for the age of the
players, the proportion of time loss injuries was slightly
higher in soccer players aged 30 years (P .05) (Table
1). Consequently, players aged30 years presented a lower
proportion of medical attention injuries (P.05).
