I took my first flight with SIngapore Airlines when I was 6 months old from London to Singapore in 1974 when I'm told the service was excellent, we've been flying regularly with them ever since, most recently 3 weeks ago with my 82 year old mother in a wheelchair and 2 year old daughter the staff are professional, helpful and were calm for the slight turbulence we had when the meal service was suspended twice even though they repeatedly had to tell people who seem to think the "seatbelt on" sign is for other people. These would be the people who would now be requesting compensation for not having thier seatbelts on even though they were told to for thier own safety and still think its someone else's fault. Turbulence is caused by the weather, if you fly you can't always avoid it how this reflects badly on the airline is beyond me. Luckily no one was seriously hurt, if you want the best service fly Singapore Airlines, it's a matter of choice.
