In the animation on the right, you can find out how a measuring unit is set up...
The measurement task determines the type of probe to be selected. The selection of the suitable temperature sensor is carried out according to the following criteria:
• Measuring range
• Location design
• Durability
• Response time
• Accuracy
The measuring error or the accuracy can be specified in three different forms in doing so:
1. Absolute specification:
In the measuring range, each reading that is read off can have a maximum tolerance of +/- 0.2 °C.
2. Percentage specification:
In the measuring range, each value read can have a tolerance of +/- 0.3 % of the reading.
3. Accuracy specification with absolute and percentage portion:
In the measuring range, each reading that is read off can have a maximum basic tolerance of +/- 0.2 °C. In addition, a fault of +/- 0.5 % of the reading occurs, which is added to this.
