About 200 mg of food sample and 200 lL of SUPRAS were mixed
in a Safe-Lock 2-mL microtube from Eppendorf Ibérica (Madrid,
Spain). Four glass-pearls (3 mm of diameter) were introduced in
the microtube to favour sample dispersion during extraction,
which was made by vortex-shaken at 2500 rpm for 10 min. Then,
the mixture was centrifuged at 7000 rpm for 10 min at room temperature.
Finally, the SUPRAS containing the target PAHs was
transferred to a glass vial from which 10 lL were injected into
the chromatographic system.
