Ability for BESC and other party (partner) consoles to be integrated with the BES12 console as follows:
a) Access these other consoles with a click (eg. button, tab, link)
b) Not require sign on to access the other console (SSO)
Target consoles for SSO as follows, in order of priority:
1) BlackBerry Consoles
a. BES Support Console
i. BESC (BlackBerry Enterprise Support Console)
b. BB VAS Consoles
i. Morvirtue Virtual SIM solution
ii. BlackBerry Identity VAS service offering
2) Third-Party Solution Consoles re-sold by BB
a. Advanced Service Management consoles (ASM) from BlackBerry partners ISEC7, GSX
b. GWAVA Corporate Liable logging and management
c. Fluid Mobility GeoFencing solution
Use Case(s)
1) An Enterprise admin logs into the BES12 console using appropriate authentication/credentials. The admin is able to select the other party console in the BES12 console and a new window opens to the other party console without requiring a separate login.
Business Justification
1) BlackBerry support is considered the best in the industry. Providing an SSO console integration improves the admin support experience and makes it easier for them to access their console without having to separately login to a BlackBerry service.
2) Having a partner console integration for link and sign on improves the admin experience with the partner solution.
