Creativity is considered as a part of engineering pedagogy. Methods, training disciplines, and additional educational programs developed by the teachers of the Department of Engineering Pedagogy (DEP MADI) of the Moscow Automobile and Roads Construction State Technical University (MADI) are described. A new algorithm for the creation of new technical ideas is proposed by the authors. It is shown that the motivation to learn can be increased by the creation and development of creativity in pupils through the use of project activity, additional educational programs and the employment of obligatory training programs.
