Enzymatic hydrolysis, testing the convertibility of sugars to
glucose by cellulytic enzymes, (Celluclast 1.5 and Novozym
188 (kindly provided by Novozymes, Denmark)) was carried
out in a acetate buffer system at 50 C, pH 4.8, with 0.1 g dry
matter in 5 mL and an enzyme loading of 30 FPU cellulase
(Celluclast 1.5) supplemented with 20 v/v% beta-glucosidase
(Novozym 188) per 1 g DM
