Seagate is deploying a centralized computer backup solution known as EVault Endpoint Protection. This application automatically backs up computer files to a central location. Installation will take place beginning August 7, 2014 on all Seagate-provided knowledge worker computers located in Teparuk.

Files are automatically backed up once EVault is installed
Launch the EVault Endpoint Protection application from your Start menu when file restoration is needed. Read EVault User Guide for more information
Additional Information
All files in your My Documents directory will be backed up as well as common document file types from all other internal drives.
Backups are centrally located in a vault in the Seagate Data Center.
EVault automatically scans for new and updated files every 30 minutes.
Backups of deleted files are maintained for a maximum of 31 days.
There is no limits on the size of your backup
Any files located in the C:NO_BACKUP directory, network drives, or external drives will not be backed up. (For Apple Mac users, click here)
You should remove all personal files or data from your Seagate computer you do not wish to have backed up or you should move these files to the NO_BACKUP directory.
