After visiting the Celebrate Pride page, you'll see a preview of what your profile picture would look like with a rainbow filter. Clicking the "use as profile picture" button will automatically add the feature to your existing profile photo.
While users have uploaded rainbow flags as their avatars in the past to mark same-sex marriage legalizations in various states, this is the first time Facebook rolled out a tool of its own.
Facebook isn't the only tech company celebrating the ruling. Google added artwork with the colors of the rainbow flag associated with LGBT pride on search results pages for phrases like "gay marriage" and "same-sex marriage."
