In the on-station trial, although endophyte non-inoculated plants contained numerically higher nematode densities (P. goodeyi
and H. multicinctus) at 3 and 6 MAT, the differences were not significant (P > 0.05) among treatments (Table 5). At 9 and 12 MAT, endophyte-inoculated plants had significantly fewer (P < 0.001) nematode densities in roots compared with non-inoculated plants. No R. similis nematodes were recovered from the roots.
