The dominant phenolic acids in rice grain is ferulic acid, p-coumaric acid, isoferulic acid and vanillic acid.

Phenolic dehydrodimers are only present in the insoluble bound fractions.

The breeding line YF53 has the highest TPC, TAC and antioxidant activity.
