Asking “What if…..” to test the supplier’s acceptability
Example:
if we order more, can you give 20% discount?
if we sign the contract with you for one year?
if we buy more products?
if we pay cash immediately?
make sure you can do it after you ask.
be careful, supplier may ask. If then, when do you want us to deliver? Or will you order immediately? (now you have to commit to buy)
