4.4. Mechanical properties of hybrid nanofibrous yarns
Mechanical properties and linear mass density of hybrid yarns are presented in Table 3. Increased silver nitrate concentrations in the polymer solution leads to form thinner nanofiber and hybrid yarns as well as enhance the uniformity of the electrospun yarn diameter. Therefore, a decrease in the hybrid yarns' diameter leads to a decrease in the linear mass density of electrospun nanofibrous hybrid yarns. The sample with the highest silver content has the lowest linear mass density (12.8). The results of one-way ANOVA analysis on the linear mass density of hybrid yarns were performed. The results show that the silver nitrate concentration has a statistically significant effect on the linear mass density of hybrid yarns (F = 8.707, P < 0.05).
