Following on from the discussion that we had regarding the bag issues experienced recently in Durban, I’ve attached photos received by email from TFM regarding this incident. As can be seen, most photos have been taken from inside the containers therefore the applicable service provider to TFM in the Port has not yet commenced de-stuffing.
The photos show two major issues, namely holes in the sides and bottom of bags as well as straps having snapped completely!
I’ll be sending you more emails in this regard with more photos to enable you to see the extent of the problem being experienced which will hopefully enable you to get to the bottom of this. As we discussed last week, this MUST be addressed immediately and the issues resolved failing which TFM Head Office may use this as an excuse to the site to source alternate products and move away from Chememan.
