Many methods have been suggested over the years for SCM evaluation of any organization. They comprise a mixture of measures, outcomes and performance drivers, however, it could be questioned whether the most basic issues that drive lean performance are identified. While the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach was not specifically designed for the LSC, it does give a good guidance for a company’s core measures [3]. Although the link between BSC and SCM has been addressed in the literature [4] a better understanding is needed of how lean performance relates to strategic objectives.
