‘Then the ground starts getting closer and you realize just how fast you are travelling. As you fall below 1,200 meters, the earth seems to rush towards you. With just 1,000 meters left to fall, you open your parachute. The last part of your fall is slower and much quieter. You have time to look around and enjoy the view. With less than 5 meters to go, you adjust you parachute to slow yourself down even more. Then your feet touch the ground.’
