The motivation for the present study stems from Song, van der Veen, Li, and Chen's (2012, p. 460) metaphorical definition of ‘success’ as ‘satisfied tourists’. The goal of the study is to examine whether differences in tourist satisfaction exist between two sectors-attractions and hotels over the period 2011-013; identify factors that determine satisfaction of the sectors, based on the service quality/satisfaction literature; and further explore the correlation between satisfaction and loyalty.
