We booked 4 Wow rooms for a group of 8. The checkin was a breeze, they even offered us ice cream as we waited for the paperwork to be done. After reading the reviews, I knew we had to expect steep hills but I definitely underestimated how steep they actually were! Mind you, we are a group of 19-27 year olds. However, the staff are very happy to give you a lift to and from your room.
The views are amazing and definitely the highlight of the hotel! The pool although small was clean and gives you the most beautiful landscape view! The beds were comfortable however, the room itself and bathroom are in need of a reno. The bathroom was dark, the furniture was dated and the walls in need of a paint job.
The staff wasn't that friendly but they still attended to our requests fairly quickly. No happy smiles here though, and it wasn't like we had unreasonable requests.
The shuttle bus service and had a few destinations, but we only used it to get to the main road to get our necessities (there's a family mart right at the bottom of the hill). However there is a timetable and booking for large groups are necessary so be weary of that. There wasn't much to do around the main road so we just relaxed in the hotel for the few days we were there. Due to the times available for the bus shuttle we took a taxi back up to the hotel a couple of times. If you do this remember to negotiate!! It's a very short ride!
We had a relaxing few days stay at the hotel, we probably couldn't stay for more than that though considering there's not much to do and the location. But if you just want to relax and enjoy a great view then this is the place for you. We will consider to stay again for the view and relaxation once they've given the hotel a face lift.
P.S. Next to family mart is a fantastic food vendor! Definitely give that a go if you're into local street food.
