Color Palette Mode can be used as an alternative to the True Color Mode.
In this case, the bits associated with each pixel are used for addressing other parts of the display memory, where the actual colors are encoded.
In this colour palette, the number of bits allocated to each colour may be even larger than the number of bit used for encoding the colour address or ID.
The colour palette can be reloaded without changing the content of the frame buffer, which will lead to re-colouring the image.
