A number of past research studies in
this field have attempted to identify the drivers for innovation
(e.g. Bossink [38]) and examine a wide range of factors that affect
the implementation and diffusion of innovations (e.g. Peansupap
andWalker [39]). However, the concept of organisational readiness
for innovation so far has not been fully investigated by researchers
in this area. Given this gap, the following research questions were
formulated:
