The effects of different wavelengths of light on plant photosynthesis are different. The spectrum that the plant photo-synthesis needs is at a range of about 400–720 nm. Lights of 400–520 nm (blue) and lights of 610–720 nm (red) contributmost to the plant’s photosynthesis. Blue light can promote the growth of the plant stem and leaf. And the red light promotesplants blossoming and bearing fruit [2]. Table 1 is the effect of light wavelength on the plant growth [3].
