Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Potential (FRAP) was conducted
according to Horszwald and Andlauer (2011). Aliquots of 50 lL of
the sample were introduced to the well followed by the automatic
addition of 300 lL of freshly prepared FRAP reagent. The solution
was left for 5 min at ambient temperature and the absorbance
was then measured at 593 nm. The results obtained were presented
as lmol Trolox Equivalents (TE) per 100 mg of DM.
