Changes in plasma ALA, EPA and DHA concentrations from baseline to 24 h observed after administration
of Entrox- vs. non-coated capsules are summarized in Table 4 and percent changes in these concentrations are
depicted in Fig. 2. The results show that relative increases in plasma concentration of ALA from baseline
to 24 h were significantly greater for Entrox than for the non-coated formulation (2.2increase vs.
1.56increase for Entrox and non-coated capsules, respectively). Parallel differences between the two
treatments were not observed for plasma EPA and DHA.
