Dear Kriangsak,
I am glad to hear that you have joined our Company! I am looking forward to work with you closely in future.
In this noon, Mr. Leung have a meeting with us to talk about the future set up in Thailand.
We have a new idea : Is it possible for us to close the business of Goodly (Thailand) Co. Ltd. (the old co.) on the one hand and set up another new company, say Goodly Enterprise Co. Ltd. (the new co.), on the other.
We would like to know the advantages and disadvantages for this idea, such as:
1. Is it easy and quickly for us to close the old co. although it do not have any trunover in this Year, say within one month's time?
- To my understanding, the formation of Goodly (Thailand) Co. Ltd. is NOT quite formal and we have to spend effort and money to clean up this old co.
- Of course, we understand that we may have to pay for the winding up the old co..
2. Is it better for us to close the old co. so that we won't have to handle the taxation matter, if any.
3. I think that, for the sack of our well planning for future development of our business, our holding company (the new co.) should be clean and formal for its accounting transactions, especially without any tax problem issues. So it is better for us to set up a new holding company (the new co.) before we set up Goodly Econogy Co. Ltd. Am I correct?
Also, we have the following concern:
1. what is the best way for the re-allocation of Thailand office staffs from the old co. to the new co?
2. what is the proper time to carry out the re-allocation?
3. should we pay any compensation to staffs if the old company is winding up and how much?
We would like to your suggestion and comment.
Any query, please feel free to inform me.
Thanks & regards,
