Job Description:
General
• Working hours: 8am - 5pm
• Instrumental Music Administrator will report directly to the Head of instrumental Music
Operations
• Instrumental music scheduling - Review and revise the instrumental music schedule to ensure information is current.
• Compile daily schedule for music monitor
• Order department resources as requested by HOD, e.g. examination books, equipment, etc.
• Assist HOD in preparation for external music exams
• Book the transport for all instrumental music activities (whole school)
Systems
• Update Veracross and related IT systems to implement the daily operations of the Instrumental music scheduling.
• Collating student records from Veracross attendance register
• Preparing teachers monthly salary records from Veracross attendance register for HOD approval
• Coordinate with the Development Department for update in web communication on NIST Website
• Create and update instrumental music blog
Communication
• Communicate relevant information to the NIST community via the current communication channels, e.g. NIST news, @36/15 , daily notice and instrumental music blog.
• Communicate instrumental teacher absence to parent, student and homeroom (Pre-planned)
• Check student absence and inform instrumental teacher
• Coordinate the bus schedule/ activities students with MONTRI transports for the “late” 3.45pm & 4.45pm dismissal.
• Liaise with all staff in case of any changes in arrangements to the normal daily programme & advise parents, students, staff & MONTRI accordingly.
Additional responsibilities
• Undertake professional responsibilities associated with the position.
Qualification:
• Thai Nationality with Bachelor Degree
• Excellent command of English both in writing and speaking
• Able to work under pressure and willing to deal with students, parents and concerned staff
• Relevant experience working in a customer service orientated environment
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal professionally with sensitive issues
• Excellent computer skills working with a wide range of IT packages, including Microsoft
• Ability to coordinate and manage projects
• Must be service minded
