Kaa continued the rings in his eyes. He never repeated a pattern, and this was the secret. The urge to place the pattern kept their attention and slowly took it away from them, just as it was doing to Cosmo now. Kaa saw her swaying, she was getting drowsy, and it was getting hard for her to hold up her own head. Kaa brought the tip of his tail up in front of her face and started to swirl it around in a figure eight pattern. This affect made her more light headed. She opened her eyes as wide as she could muster, letting the rings flow even more into her mind and then her head dipped and it was next to impossible for her to continue to keep her eyes open. She was falling, slipping, being dragged down by Kaa but all she saw was the rings. The kept her attention, she stared into them, she was trying to keep watching them but her eyes were getting heavy. She batted her eyes, trying to stay awake, but she could no longer, and she fell asleep. She then instantly awoke by a loud noise that seemed to come from all around. It was a loud PING noise; it reverberated in her head and gave her some strange energy she had not felt before. She did not know this feeling, it was some strange mixture of joy and energy, a perpetual generator of feelings filling her up, and she loved it.
