I just got home from picking my younger brother at the airport. He's grown so tall already. Too bad he wasn't able to attend our mini-reunions and the night when I brought Sulli to the house. I can't stay longer here at home since I've got nothing to do. I wore my jacket and marched off our house when I got a text message from Sulli.
Chanyeol-ah. Help, please?
What is it? laugh
I want to tell your cousin Suho about my Dad right now. sad
Why? Isn't it too early to be doing that?
I can't rest well because of that. I have to tell him as soon as possible. Agent Kwon escaped already. Mafia wars everywhere. Ugh.
Okay. Where are you now? I'll pick you up. Let's go to Suho's law firm
I'm at my house. See ya.
Okay. I love you. heart
I love you too. I always do.
I crawled inside my car and turned the engine on. I stepped on the gas and away I went. I don't know if this is a good decision but I'll have to support her. I love Sulli. Among all the girls I dated, she is the only one I brought home to meet my family. I've never seen her father nor her brother but I guess her life's critical right now. With all the ruckus around her house, how can she sleep comfortably? A pregnant mistress, an angry father, dirty gangsters.... I wouldn't be surprised if she shows up in front of Suho's door, surrendering all evidences of her father's Mafia.
And it's the first time that I fell for a unique girl like her. She's a challenge to me. But I am willing to give anything just to have her in my arms.
I parked my car a few meters away from their house. I don't want anyone else to see me with her. Sulli told me before that her father is really strict. Plus, her brother might see me. I dialed her number but before I hear a ring, Sulli was already outside there gate. She ran towards me and I extended my arms. She hugged me tight. "Chanyeol-ah~!"
I caressed her face. I kissed her on the lips again but this time it was just a smack. "Are you ready?"
"Yeah. I'll do what it takes.", She said.
I opened the door for her. She seems to be fine right now. However, I think she's a little bit nervous.
I pushed the door gently and found the secretary looking at me. Sulli was right behind me, craning her neck.
"How can I help you, Sir?" the secretary asked.
"I'm looking for Prosecutor Kim.", I said.
"Come in. Have a seat. He's right inside. May I know your name?", The secretary said as she went back to her desk and arranged files.
Sulli and I went inside and made ourselves comfortable. "Park Chanyeol. His cousin from his mother side."
"Ah, I see.", The secretary snapped her fingers. "Just a minute."
I held Sulli's hand and squeezed it gently. A few moments later, the secretary came back and said, "You can go inside his office, Sir."
"Yeah. Thank you.", I thanked her.
I opened the door and led Sulli inside. Suho was seated at his high chair, adjusting his spectacles and reading files. His office was quite neat. There were chairs on the side of his table. There was a book shelf filled with books about law and human rights. On his table was his expensive laptop and a pile of papers. His ballpens were inside a used can. It seems like he's good at recycling, too. There was also a garbage can filled with crumpled papers and candy wrappers. Lastly, I found his family picture hung on the wall. It still had his younger brother in it.
Suho noticed us. He shifted his seating position and placed the papers back into the pile. "Hey, cousin. Hey, Sulli. What made you come here?"
"We've got something important to tell you.", Sulli spoke up.
"Sit down.", Suho pointed at the chairs. He looked at the grandfather clock ticking beside the bookshelf. It was half past four in the afternoon.
We sat down together.
"So, um...Jae Min-dongsaeng came home, right? Please send my regards to him. I may not be able to visit your house again since I've been occupied with so many cases.", Suho said.
"Ah, yes. I picked him up at the airport. It's okay. Good luck with your work.", I replied.
"What business do we have here?", Suho looked at us.
"It's something your parents, my parents, our whole family shouldn't know.', I told him.
Suho looked confused. "What?"
"I am the daughter of Choi Sang Hyun. The head of South Korea's largest Mafia.", Sulli wasted no time.
Suho looked at Sulli, examining her face. "That's.....one big problem."
"But I've never been involved with the murders, the corruption and the dirty business.I assure you of that. That's why I came here.... I want to teach my Dad a lesson. It's been too hard on me already. Not only me, but for you too. I know you've been after those politicians. Senator Jung? Senator Kim? Congressman Gu? Head of the Department of Education and Head of the Department of Health? Oh please, I've seen them a lot in the Mafia headquarters. And I've been dying to tell someone about it. I guess this is the perfect time.", Sulli said.
"Yes, I guess this is the perfect time too. But I can't jump into conclusions, Sulli-ssi. I need evidences.", Suho replied.
"As requested.", Sulli handed out a folder to him.
Suho's jaw dropped when he saw photos of the said personalities gambling and supposedly discussing matters with Sulli's father. There were also documents that Sulli stole from her father's study.
"Choi Sulli. You're one brave girl. You're going to be my witness.", Suho said.
