Abstract
As the implementation of HACCP is making headways in food safety management systems of ® shery industry in Thailand, the role of the department of Fisheries is also changing.
In addition to the inspection for compliance to GMPs, other regulatory requirements,
the ®sh inspectors have to assume new responsibilities and these include validation and veri ® cation of the HACCP plan
and implementation of the HACCP system.
