The SA begins with six parameters Iiter, T0,TF, K, Nnon-improving and α. Iiter denotes the number of iterations the search proceeds at a particular temperature. While T0 represents the initial temperature, TF represents the final temperature below which the SA procedure is stopped. K is the Boltzmann constant used in the probability function to determine whether to accept a worse solution or not. Nnon-improving is the maximum allowable number of reductions in temperature during which the best objective function value is not improved. Finally, α is the coefficient controlling the cooling scheme.
