Had read some reviews on this waterfall & decided it would be worth a look & so glad we did. We have seen spectacular waterfalls in our travels before so now we tend to also look for the unusual & the Bua Thong falls are definately different. So beautiful to see the white surface the water cascades over amid the lush green jungle & the falls are a lot steeper than I thought they would be. As well as looking beautiful it's a lot of fun (& very refreshing) being able to climb up the middle of the falls with that very unusual calcified surface that is not slippery. Just avoid walking on areas that look green as they definately are slippery. Not many people there when we were there so also very peaceful. I think it is also possible to camp at the falls. We combined the falls with a trip to Chang Dao which made for a great day out. The driver we hired had to stop & ask directions a couple of times but we got there eventually & the drive in was lovely.
