Determination of imidacloprid and diazinon in garden samples
Garden apple and pear samples were obtained from Regions of
Paveh (province of Kermanshah, Iran) and Ganjnameh (province of
Hamedan, Iran) which was treated with the target pesticides were
sampled and analysed following the SDLLMEeSFOeHPLCeUV
procedure. The results for apple and pear samples in all gardens
showed that they were free of diazinon contamination. For gardens
No. P1, P4, G1 and G3 imidacloprid was detected in apple and pear
samples at the concentration range of 3.8e22.7 mg kg1. The presences
of mentioned pesticides in these samples were confirmed by
spiking pesticides at the different concentration levels. Fig. 4 shows
the obtained chromatograms of direct injection of standards at
concentration level of 1.00 mg L1, apple sample and spiked apple
sample at concentration level of 70.0 mg kg1 for imidacloprid and
diazinon. The detail results are depicted in Table 2. The concentration
for the imidacloprid in apple and pear was very lower than
the MRLs established by European Union regulation.
