This research deals with the study effect of polylactic Acid (PLA) film based composites containing epoxidized soybean oil (ESO) and a microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) on thermal properties, structural characteristics and mechanical properties. Various Amounts of polylactic Acid, epoxidized soybean oil and microcrystalline cellulose were compounded by using Twin screw extruder. Films were prepared by compression molding technique. Thermal properties of film obtained were characterized by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). Structural characteristics of film obtained were characterized by a small angle x-ray scattering. Mechanical properties of film obtained were characterized by a universal testing machine
