The kinetics of the adsorption process is very important in order to assess the rate and fix the equilibrium time of adsorption based on physical and chemical properties of adsorbent and adsorbate. The methods for the kinetic studies is the same as discussed earlier in the batch adsorption studies, where the concentration of the bentazon samples were determined at predefined time intervals from the solution. The modeling of the kinetic data was performed by using two models in order to identify the potential rate controlling steps involved in the adsorption process.
