Drs. Rea and Eisenberg report receiving defibrillators and funding from Philips Medical Systems and Physio-Control to evaluate research questions related to automated external defibrillator training and use, and report that their institutions, the University of Washington and Public Health for Seattle and King County, have received funding from the Medtronic Foundation involving community-based translation of resuscitation science.
